Love is not simply liking people. It is actively seeking their good, especially their eternal good.
This includes:
Praying for others
Encouraging them
Bearing their burdens
Forgiving offences
Correcting them when necessary
Helping them grow in holiness
Love sometimes requires difficult conversations. To ignore a brother’s spiritual danger is not kindness but neglect.
