“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding [a]in it with thanksgiving” Col 2:6-7

Relationship with God is private and progressive. The private nature of faith is like a seed growing underground before it breaks the surface. Our most significant spiritual growth often happens in secret. Sincerity and quiet faithfulness are essential to growing in Christ’s love.

God sees you when no one else does. He is your main audience. Private choices build inner strength. Forgiving someone in your heart, being honest when you could cheat, and praying about your worries make you strong on the inside. God uses daily, ordinary work to prepare you for bigger things. He trained Joseph in a prison and David with sheep. Faithfulness in small, hidden things pleases God. He will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Your private life with God is the root. Your public life is the fruit that grows from it. A strong, hidden root system produces good, lasting fruit.
