“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…” 1 John 3:1

This morning, pause and consider this astonishing truth: You are called a son of God. Not a servant, not merely a believer, but a son—mature, bearing His likeness, entrusted with His authority.

The world may not recognise you. Why? Because it did not recognise Him. Your identity as a son is not built on human lineage, societal labels, or personal merit. It is born of divine love—a love so great that it lifts us beyond what is natural and makes us part of God’s supernatural family.

Once, the phrase “sons of God” referred to angels, beings of glory. But now, through Christ, you have inherited a place they marvel at. John 1:12 reminds us: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God.” This power is yours today—through simple, childlike faith in Jesus. It does not matter where you come from—be it a broken home, a background of idolatry, or a lineage riddled with pain. Romans 9:25–26 declares God’s heart: “I will call them My people who were not My people… they will be called sons of the living God.” You are not defined by your past—you are born of God.

Christ came not only to die but to raise you up. His suffering had purpose: to restore all that Adam lost—fellowship, dominion, and identity. His salvation (soteria) means wholeness. Nothing missing. Nothing broken.

So today, if your body is weak, your soul heavy, your mind oppressed—know this: The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. And He is quickening you now (Romans 8:11). Let resurrection life infuse every part of your being. Lift your head—He is the lifter of your head. You are not destined to merely survive but to overcome. Let every chain fall. Let every fear bow. Let revival come to your destiny.

When Jesus died, He descended—not to suffer, but to proclaim victory. He emptied Paradise below and took the saints of old with Him in triumph. Now, Paradise is no longer beneath but above; now relocated to the third heaven (2 Corinthians 12). Glory to God!

He fulfilled every prophecy—not just in word but in blood. And by His stripes, you are healed. By His cross, you are redeemed. And by His resurrection, you are raised to live a new life.

You are not a beggar. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places. You are no longer under ancestral curses or satanic oppression. You are free. You are risen. You are royalty. This is not only true during Easter celebrations!

This morning, say it out loud: “I am risen with Christ. I am alive in Him. I am a son of God.”

Let the truth of Christ’s victory become more than a story—let it become your daily reality. You are the fruit of His resurrection. As Eve came from Adam’s side, you, beloved, were birthed from Christ’s side—His rib was broken for you —water and blood testifying to your new birth.

Today, live with this confidence: You are written in heaven’s register. You are part of the Church of the Firstborn. You belong to Mount Zion—the city of the Living God (Hebrews 12:22–23).

So walk boldly. Shine brightly. Love deeply. And remember: He is risen indeed!

Heavenly Father, thank you for the mystery and majesty of my sonship in Christ. Open my eyes today to see myself as you see me—redeemed, raised, and reigning with Christ. Let every part of my life reflect the victory of the resurrection. Fill me with resurrection power, healing, peace, and purpose. Let me live not as one merely surviving, but as one truly alive in you; in Jesus’ name, Amen.
