Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.Hosea 6:3

I am desperate to know God more. There is an unquenchable longing to know Him in my heart. A thirst that nothing else can satisfy. The Psalmist says, “My soul follows hard after you: your right hand upholds me.” Ps 63:8. Following hard after God is making Him the central focus of our lives, prioritising our relationship with Him above all else, and being willing to invest our time, energy, and heart into this pursuit. Have you got a passionate, persistent, and focused pursuit of a deeper relationship with Him?

To truly know God requires both desperation and supplication. Desperation means having an intense desire to know Him, like a thirst that cannot be quenched by anything else. This kind of pursuit isn’t passive – it’s an active, all-consuming desire to be close to God. Supplication, on the other hand, is our earnest prayer, crying out to God to reveal Himself to us. Paul did not only press in, he pray and pleaded for more of God! (Phil 3:12, 10)
