They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.” Psalm 84:7

There is a strength that flows from the presence of God—a strength deeper than emotion, greater than routine, and more enduring than anything this world can offer. It rises from relationship. From being with Him. From choosing to draw near.

Everyday life can be demanding. Deadlines, delays, grief, temptation, decisions, and disappointment all press in. But those who turn aside to seek God find something extraordinary: they are renewed from the inside out. The scripture declares that those who appear before Him in Zion move from strength to strength. They may face trials, but they are not diminished by them. God’s presence revives what life tries to wear down.

Consider Moses. Tasked with leading a nation through the wilderness, he asked for one thing—not a plan, but presence. “If your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” Exodus 33:15
Moses recognised that true strength flows from walking with God, not ahead of Him.

Or think of Hannah. Each year, she came to Shiloh carrying pain, but also hope. Her moment of breakthrough began the day she poured out her soul in prayer. “Her face was no longer sad.” (1 Samuel 1:18). Long before her situation changed, her spirit was lifted. Strength met her at the altar.

David, too, knew this path. Surrounded by conflict and uncertainty, he centred his heart on one pursuit: “One thing have I desired of the Lord… that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life… For in the day of trouble, He will hide me…Psalm 27:4–5. David understood that the presence of God was his place of clarity, courage, and renewal.

And Jesus, our perfect example, regularly withdrew to be alone with the Father. Though He carried the weight of the world, He made time for communion. From that place came peace, direction, and power. Every step He took was sustained by spiritual strength.

Truthly, in God’s presence, vision becomes clear. Peace returns. Strength is restored.

You may come feeling weary, but you rise refreshed.
You may begin unsure, but you walk away anchored. The presence of God has a way of lifting what is heavy and igniting what is fainting. When you are in His presence, you don’t just feel better—you become stronger.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…Isaiah 40:31

Perfect unhindered strength doesn’t just come from rest or resolve—it comes from joy. And not just any joy, but the joy that comes from the Lord Himself.
In Your presence is fullness of joy…” (Psalm 16:11) and in that joy, strength flows.

So draw near to God with sincerity. Not with pressure to perform, but with openness of heart. God has made a place where your strength is replenished again and again.

Stay close. Stay connected. Strength is found where He is. Have you ever tried Joy Declaration (Nehemiah 8:10)?

Say this out loud:

“The joy of the Lord is my strength.
His joy is not shallow—it’s steady.
His joy is not fleeting—it fills me.
Right here, in His presence, I am being made strong again.”
