Imagine you discovered the cure for cancer. A 100% effective, free cure that could save millions of lives. Would you keep it to yourself? Of course not! You would share it with everyone you could, knowing that lives depend on it.

Now, think about this: We have something even greater than a cure for cancer—we have the gospel of Jesus Christ, the only message that can save a soul for eternity. Yet, many believers hesitate to share it. Why? Fear? Doubt? A sense of inadequacy?

Today, let’s shake off these barriers and embrace the call to evangelism with passion and urgency! Let’s be real—hell is not a metaphor. It’s real, and it’s the destiny of those who die without Christ (Revelation 20:15). That’s not something to take lightly.

Think about your friends, family, colleagues… If they don’t know Jesus, they are lost. Not because they are bad people, but because we are all sinners in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:23).

If we don’t tell them about Jesus, who will? This is why Paul said: “How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?Romans 10:14

God has placed you in their lives for a reason. You may be the only person who ever tells them about Jesus. It is not forcing religion on people. It is simply sharing what you know about Jesus with love. If you saw someone drowning, you wouldn’t hesitate to throw them a lifeline. Jesus didn’t argue people into the kingdom—He loved them, spoke the truth, and invited them to follow Him. That’s our model.

Let’s be honest—sharing the gospel can be scary. What if they reject me? What if I don’t know what to say?

Here’s the truth:

Fear is natural, but faith is stronger. The Holy Spirit gives you boldness (Acts 1:8).

You don’t need all the answers. Just share what Jesus has done in your life.

Rejection is not personal. They are rejecting Jesus, not you (Luke 10:16).

Boldness grows with practice. The first time may feel awkward, but every time you step out in faith, it gets easier!

You never know how one conversation can change a life forever. The woman at the well (John 4) had one encounter with Jesus, and her whole town came to hear Him. Philip shared the gospel with one Ethiopian (Acts 8), and that man took the message back to his nation. Someone shared Jesus with YOU, and now you have eternal life.

Who is waiting for you to share the gospel with them?

Are you imagining or thinking “where do I start?” Start where you are. Evangelism doesn’t mean standing on a street corner with a megaphone (unless God leads you to). It starts where you are: At work – Share your testimony over lunch. With family – Pray for opportunities to talk about Jesus. On social media – Post a Scripture or testimony. At the store – Ask the cashier if you can pray for them.

Every conversation is an opportunity. The more you step out, the more God will open doors.

My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58.

The world needs Jesus now more than ever. He has called you to be His ambassador. Will you say YES to sharing the gospel? Will you be bold and step out in faith?

Pray this today:
Lord, use me. Give me boldness. Open doors for me to share your love. Let me see people the way you see them. I say YES to your call. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
