Jesus once asked, “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine to find the one?” Matthew 18:12–14. That one sheep is you.

God saw you when you were lost, wandering far from Him. But He didn’t give up. He pursued you—patiently, persistently, lovingly. He stirred people to pray for you. He sent preachers, friends, or even strangers to speak truth into your life. He gently called you until your heart turned towards Him.

And when you said “yes” to Jesus, all of heaven rejoiced. You were found.

God’s love for you is not casual—it’s costly. He gave His only Son to rescue you. Jesus died not just any death, but one of the most painful and humiliating deaths known to man: crucifixion. Stripped, beaten, mocked, nailed to a wooden cross—He hung there as though He were a criminal, though He had never sinned. He was abandoned, misunderstood, and rejected. Yet He endured it all, for you.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8. Even when you were deep in sin, doing what grieved His heart, He saw someone worth saving—not discarding, but redeeming.

You are not a mistake or an afterthought. You are precious. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting lifeJohn 3:16.

Luke 15 shows us three powerful pictures of God’s heart: a shepherd who searches for a lost sheep, a woman who sweeps her house for a lost coin, and a father who runs to embrace a wayward son. In each story, when the lost is found, there is joy—great, loud, uncontainable joy.

And that joy was over you.

So when the enemy whispers that you’re worthless or too far gone, don’t believe it. Open God’s Word. Let His voice be louder. “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made… How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them” Psalm 139:14,17.

You are deeply loved, eternally valued, and wonderfully redeemed. God didn’t stop until you were found—and He’s not finished with you yet.
