Sometimes when we are going through stuff, we forget that God is not like a man, He is never too early or too late. God is not surprised or faced by our challenges. Nothing is too difficult for Him (Gen 18:14, Jer 32:17, Matt 19:26). The fact is that God knows the end of everything before it starts. Remember the Parable of the Wise and the Foolish Builders in Matthew 7:24-27. God doesn’t start what he cannot finish well. He is a wise builder and knows how your story will end. He said,

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

In spite of what your circumstances are saying right now, You are not an accident! God had you covered in His plan.

God took time to prepare for man’s creation. He created heaven and earth. made sure that there is water, light, and sufficient food. God is not an absent father. He made all preparations before man was made. Then God located a suitable garden in the east of Eden. God had you in mind when He was doing all this.

His plan even transcends the fall of man. Your mistakes cannot derail God’s ultimate plan for your life. God was already prepared when man fell. God wouldn’t give up if you didn’t. Paul said that God had provided for man’s rescue from the adversary before the fall in the Garden of Eden, even before the foundation of the earth was laid.

“even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love, he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,” Eph 1:4-5

Jeremiah thought he was a product of chance. He thought he was made by his father and mother until God told him that he was in His mind before he was ever born. See Jer 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

David realised that he wasn’t an accident, and his life is not a series of coincidences. He began to see from the perspective of GOD.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you.” Psalm 139:13-18

Why am I telling you all these things? You need to realise God’s perspective on your life. And know for sure that it is not over until God’s plan is fulfilled. God’s ultimate plan is to conform us to the image of His Son. And he is ready to work on everything to fit that plan.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.” Rom 8:28-29
John admonished struggling believers and wrote this letter to them.

“Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2

I know you don’t have it all figured out, but just breathe and relax. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
