Uncertain Sounds
For if the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself for the battle?
-1 Corinthians 14:8
Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual. I am sure we have all at one point in life wished we are forewarned and trained before we face some crucial discision in life. We blame our parents, relatives and most time we blame ourselves for not getting it right.
What if I tell you you have second chance of getting thing right -you will either grime and strug your sholder or exactedly ask how? Christianity is the only known way of life with prescribed and predicted outcome. Yet, if you are Christian you probably has reservation with the complexity of ideas and concepts involved in uraveling the meaning and way of life.
A young man spitted the profound word “uncertain sound” in answe to a question at his audition. He was played a series of musical pieice and asked to identify the instrument. He listed a few but pause for a while before adding the word “uncertain sound”
Funny that Apostle Paul used same expression why explaining the understanding of the work of Grace in i Cor 14:8
