Just because something seems to ‘work’ does not mean it is in accordance with God’s will. We must continuously evaluate our actions and motivations against the standards set by God’s Word, seeking accountability and guidance to ensure our practices are consistent with His truth.

Many Christians think faith means ‘Believe it and you will have it!’ However, the Bible warns, ‘There is one who brings to pass evil thoughts, and that is the devil’ (John 8:44). Witchcraft involves desiring things that are not godly.

In the story of Moses, he struck the rock instead of speaking to it, and water still came out. However, the result does not justify the action (Num 20:7–12).

Jesus warned that many will claim, ‘We did miracles in your name,’ but He will say, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness’ (Matt 7:22–23).

You may have heard people praying and calling on the spirits of individuals to instruct them to do things; this is witchcraft and not prayer to God. Praying and claiming things that are against the Word of God is evil.
