Be Still!

“Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.” Psa 116:7

Soul, rejoice in the Lord’s sovereignty! He calms the tumultuous waves of the mind, stills the storms within, and infuses the weary heart with rejuvenating light, ushering in sweet serenity and peace.

I say to my soul, place unwavering trust in the Lord; be restful, acknowledging His divine presence.

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psa. 46:10

There’s unparalleled comfort in knowing that the One who governs all realms, holds the destiny of nations, and attends to the minutest concerns of individuals and families, is both Father and Friend.

The deeper our understanding of God—His power, wisdom, love, faithfulness, and truth—the more we bow before His throne in humble adoration and confident love.
