“When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.” James 1:13-14
Most addiction are explained in the Bible as a lawful captive: to whom you give yourself to obey, a servant you will become (Rom 6:16).
Thank God! He is willing to deliver the lawful captive who submits to Him.
Isaiah 49:24-25 says, ‘Can plunder be taken from warriors, or captives be rescued from the fierce? But this is what the Lord says: ‘Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.’
