Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

Yesterday you started. Today you continue! Has the motivation dips. Reality sets in. And suddenly, pressing forward feels harder than it did 24 hours ago. Yes. following-through requires being strong and courageous. Paul knew this. He is writing this letter from prison, most likely in Rome. His future is uncertain. He does not know if he will be released or executed. He had been knocked down, shipwrecked, imprisoned, beaten before; yet he kept moving. His secret? One thing. Not ten strategies. Not a complicated plan. One focus: Press on.
Forget what’s behind. The mistakes of yesterday, or last year, don’t define today. Strain toward what’s ahead.

The harvest doesn’t come on day two. But day two is where you prove whether you’ll still be standing when it does. Jesus put it plainly: “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of GodLuke 9:62. Keep your hand on the plow. Keep your eyes forward. Keep moving.
Today isn’t about giant leaps. It’s about the next step. And God promises to meet you there.
So don’t quit on day two. The best part of your story requires you to keep writing, keep pressing forward.

Father, give me strength to keep moving forward today: to keep choosing you! When motivation fades, let your faithfulness carry me. I receive inner strength to keep pressing forward in Jesus’ name
