Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

In a world that constantly pressures us to rely on our own strength, talent, and resources, the Bible offers a revolutionary truth: it’s not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord that we overcome and accomplish God’s purposes (Zechariah 4:6). This divine principle reminds us that human effort alone will never be enough; true victory comes only through the empowerment of God’s Spirit.

Consider the story of Moses, a baby placed in a homemade basket and set afloat on the Nile River (Exodus 2). His mother had to make a difficult decision — to take her hands off and entrust her child into God’s care. It was God’s perfect plan that Pharaoh’s daughter would raise Moses, not his own mother. This teaches us a vital lesson: we must release control and trust God’s timing and methods, even when they don’t match our expectations.

God often chooses ordinary people for extraordinary tasks. Zerubbabel, a man emerging from exile, was called to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. Despite overwhelming odds and the impossibility of the task by human standards, God’s Spirit empowered him to begin and finish the work. Likewise, when God calls you to a purpose, no matter how impossible it seems, remember: miracles happen when God moves. It’s not about human ability, but about God’s spirit operating through you.

If you’re facing doubt, discouragement, or opposition remember this: Jesus Christ is the Way Maker. No matter how impossible your situation looks, when you invite Him in, the enemy’s odds become irrelevant. The devil will try to convince you that you won’t make it, but he is a liar (John 8:44).
Satan’s lies aim to discourage, but you must stand firm in the truth. God’s spirit gives us the strength to overcome every obstacle.

God is faithful to His promises. He says, “Before they call, I will answerIsaiah 65:24. We can boldly pray and stand in agreement with His Word, knowing that our needs will be met according to His perfect will. Whether it’s healing, financial blessing, or restoration of relationships, God is ready to work on your behalf.

Salvation is available today. It’s simple and powerful: humble yourself, confess your sins, and invite Jesus into your heart. He died for your sins, rose again, and promises to walk with you daily. There is no greater decision than to accept Jesus as your Saviour.

Finally, never underestimate the power of prayer and unity in the body of Christ. Jesus promised that when two or more agree in prayer, God will act (Matthew 18:19). Stand in faith, pray boldly, and expect God to move mightily.

So, take your hands off your problems. Stop striving in your own strength. Entrust everything to God, and watch Him turn your situation around. It is not by your might or power — it is by His Spirit that you will see breakthrough.

God has a miracle with your name on it. Receive it in faith today.
