“The Lord had said to Abram, ‘Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.’” Genesis 12:1
The unknown can be intimidating, and when things don’t go to plan, it’s easy to feel like we’ve lost our footing. We live in a world of instant everything. We want answers, clarity, results—now. But God often works in the waiting, listening and following.
God didn’t give Abraham all the details. He didn’t lay out the full itinerary. He just said, “Go,” and promised to be with him. And Abraham went. Not because he had clarity—but because he had trust.
Walking by faith isn’t about seeing the full picture. It’s about trusting the One who does. When we don’t know what’s next, when the future feels uncertain or the road unclear, God invites us to move—not in fear, but in faith. Just like Abraham.
Walking with God was never meant to be about having all the answers. It’s about trusting God.
The Bible says: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5–6.
Faith asks us to trust when we can’t see, to submit when it’s hard, and to let go of our need to control. Instead, we lean fully on God’s wisdom rather than our limited view.
We’re not pretending everything makes sense. Sometimes it doesn’t. Life can somtimes be confusing and unfair. But Romans 8:28 reminds us: God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
That includes delays, detours, disappointments—even the quiet seasons.
Even when life feels like it’s falling apart, God is still weaving something beautiful in the background. We may not see it now, but faith says, “I trust God anyway.”
You don’t have to figure it all out today. God already knows what’s ahead. He’s already there. Trust Him. Wait on Him. Listen for His voice.
