“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Hallelujah! We have the light of life within us. Isaiah 60:1 proclaims: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

As believers, we are called to radiate and reflect the light of Christ, shining His truth, love, and righteousness in a world overshadowed by darkness. Jesus declared in Matthew 5:14-16: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Therefore, our lives must visibly reflect God’s goodness, just as a lamp brightens a room. We are not called to blend in with darkness but to stand out—shining brightly through our faith, character, and actions, leading others to Christ. It is a sobering truth that we were once lost in darkness, but now we walk as children of light, as the Bible declares: “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” Ephesians 5:8

Our lives display purity, love, and righteousness, exposing and overcoming darkness wherever we go. Philippians 2:15 urges us: “Be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.”

The light of Christ within us is not meant to be hidden—it must illuminate every sphere of life—from our homes to our workplaces, from the church to the marketplace. We shine His light by influencing our generation in tangible ways—pioneering groundbreaking inventions, applying divine wisdom in leadership, and demonstrating Christlike love in management, business, and relationships. As we operate with heavenly insight and integrity, we become beacons of hope, setting a godly standard in every field of life.

Let us arise and shine, our light has come, and the glory of the Lord is upon us!
