1. Thanksgiving: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In all things, give thanks.” Before starting your day, express gratitude to God for your health, life, family, and blessings. You may not be where you want to be, but thank God you’re not where you used to be. Life might not be perfect, but the fact that you are alive and sound is reason enough to give thanks. Teach your children that gratitude leads to multiplication—thankfulness attracts more blessings.

2. Guidance: Seek God’s guidance in making decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not rely on our own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all things, and He will make your paths straight. If you desire greener pastures, ask God to guide you. Remember, whoever God guides, He leads, and whoever He leads, He protects.

3. Strength, health, and protection: Pray for strength to face challenges and declare good health and protection over yourself and your loved ones. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 assures us that the Lord is faithful and will protect us from evil. Each day, declare protection from the plans of the enemy and those who wish you harm.

4. Availability for God’s use: Be ready to be used by God. He seeks willingness, not ability. When you offer yourself to Him, He will equip you and transform lives through you. Remember, He doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Make yourself available by telling Him, “I’m ready to be used by You.”

5. Wisdom: James 1:5 says if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask God, who gives generously without finding fault. Wisdom will place you in the right places at the right time and guide you in knowing what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. Proverbs declares wisdom as the principal thing, so never start your day without praying for wisdom.
